    Ashford Bouclé Merino - Undyed

    Yarn
    • These beautiful undyed yarns by Ashford were designed for their brilliant weaving looms, but they are equally wonderful to knit / crochet with, and perfect for hand-dyeing.

Fabulous on their own for adding texture and softness, or held together with other yarns.

Looped Bouclé is more like the traditional bouclé yarns you might have seen in the past, with loops of texture which are attached to a strong, soft core.

Brushed Bouclé has had the loops cut and then the yarn is brushed to give it more of a halo.

Both yarns use ultra-soft (22 microns) non-mulesed, New Zealand merino which is "wrapped" around a nylon binder for strength and bounce.

Knit with larger needles for a soft, open fabric, or weave (we recommend a 5pdi reed). One skein will make a whole scarf.
