Where do we start with Juniper Moon Farm? We love everything that they’re about! Sustainability and ethical sourcing are at the heart of Juniper Moon, something which (as you know) Tribe is incredibly passionate about. Combining wool from their sheep and Angora goats with carefully selected fibres from Argentina, Italy, Nepal and Peru, the resulting range of yarns is both luxurious and great value.

Nestled in the rolling hills of central Virginia, you’ll find Juniper Moon Farm, where select breeds of sheep and Angora goats produce some of the finest farm yarns in the United States.

Founded by Susan Gibbs in 2007, Juniper Moon Farm was the first to apply the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model to yarn and spinning fibres. Their CSA and flock retired at the end of the 2015 season, with the flock earning a lifetime of R&R as far as we see it! Now, they’ll get to live out their days grazing on sweet grass and sleeping under the stars.

This care and passion for animals is evident, and Juniper Moon yarn really benefits from this ethical approach. We have picked our favourite must-haves from their massive lineup of yarns for our shelves.
