The vision behind KAOS YARN is to inspire you to use colours to change your mood, empower and express yourself. The colours in our palette are named after their colour psychological qualities and the palette ranges from muted and calm natural tones, to vibrant and very expressive colours. Use them on their own or mix and match them to suit your mood and personality.
KAOS YARN is made from high quality natural fibres that are biodegradable and are comfortable to wear. The fibres are ethically sourced both regarding animal welfare and environmental footprint - this also means no mulesing of animals and no SuperWash treatment of the yarn.
The family owned spinning mill in Peru is Fair Trade certified, ensuring good working conditions for everyone creating this yarn. All dyeing follows European regulations regarding toxic free dyes and environmental concerns.
Organic Soft Merino and Organic Brushed Alpaca are both made from certified organic fibres.
Printing is certified with the Danish Swan Eco Label and all paper used is FSC certified. Freight packaging is recycled - reused when possible and carefully chosen to minimize the volume during transportation.
