FAB FUNKY FIBRES is a small batch, hand-dyed yarn duo based in the north east, UK. We specialise in the art of self-striping sock yarn...We do the hard work so you don’t have to!
Elaine became interested in yarn & knitting in 2013 where she soon found a love of self-striping which lent itself perfectly to her need for exploring colour and various striping techniques.
After a quick Etsy shop update she soon realised there was a market for rainbows...Fab Funky Fibres was born!
We aim to bring you the highest quality, colour saturated squishy loveliness possible. Our motto: go bold or go home. Each batch of stripes are lovingly created using at-least 12 processes with dyes mixed by eye so each batch is totally unique but almost perfectly the same.
