  • Tread Work Cardigan Pattern

    PDF Pattern*

    By Amanda Jones

This cardigan will become a staple of your wardrobe. It has a flattering shape that will go equally well with smart or casual outfits.

The cardigan is worked in the round from the top down. The raglan shaping is worked either side of a 7-stitch pattern section on every RS row. Stitch markers are placed either side of the 7-stitch section and at the centre front edge to show where to make your increases. The sleeves are worked in the round starting on a circular needle then changing to DPNs for the smaller circumference knitting. The button band is picked up and worked after the main body and sleeves have been knitted.

You will receive a printed copy of this pattern which also includes a download code for Ravelry.
