    • Isager's newest yarn!

Isager Eco Soft has become one of the most popular yarns ever, so it makes perfect sense for Isager to have created a thinner version of this yarn for us.

With the same light, brushed feel and super softness, Soft Fine uses a silk core (instead of a Pima Cotton tube) which traps loopy strands of soft alpaca and yak, which are brushed out to create the volume and airiness - and hence the similarity to original Eco Soft*.

ISAGER SOFT FINE utilises naturally dark yarn from yak which gives each colourway added depth.

And it's incredibly soft! Think silk-mo soft, but totally, totally different! In fact, it's so soft that at Isager HQ, it's been dubbed ‘Isager’s cashmere’.

And the gauge? Well, you could use it as a Sport, DK, Worsted, even Aran weight yarn all on it's own! Or hold together with other yarns, or hold double - it's truly incredibly versatile!

(*Eco Soft will soon be renamed "Isager Soft" now that there are dyed colours available in the range too.)

    • ISAGER YARNS

Renowned for classic yarns made from natural fibres, well suited for knitting, crochet, weaving and embroidery.

All the wool qualities are ideal for felting and for dyeing with plant dyes.

It is important to us that our yarns are produced with the greatest amount of care taken to both animals and humans.

      THE COLOUR RANGE

Carefully created so the colours work well together both within and across the qualities. We rarely change the colours, as the range primarily consists of BASIC COLOURS, amongst which contemporary colours can always be found.

The colours and qualities of our finer yarns can be mixed to create unique pieces.

As a rule, single ply, densely spun yarns should not be used individually for working in the round, as they may pull the finished work. When worked together with other qualities this problem is avoided.
