Designed by Helga Isager, Virginia was inspired by the earthy colours and loose silhouettes from the wardrobe of Virginia Wolf (Nicole Kidman) in the movie ‘The Hours’ from 2002.

    CONSTRUCTION
The sweater is knitted in Isager Merilin or Isager Tweed, with Isager Silk Mohair (one strand of each held together) and is worked from the bottom up in the round. The sweater has a simple Slip Stitch pattern with Stockinette stitch sections worked in Jensen Yarn alone. The slip stitch technique is an easy way to create colourwork while only needing to handle a single colour at a time.
