      About The Yarn:

We have chosen artyarns Eco Cashmere + artyarns Silk Mohair to create the most luxurious sweater combo that's as much a pleasure to wear as it is to knit. We know it will become your go-to staple sweater - despite the sumptiousness of the fibres, it's still perfect for everyday cozy.

Eco Cashmere is spun from 100% Italian Cashmere: a blend of recycled cashmere (50%) and virgin cashmere (50%), and is incredibly light-weight and snuggly.

Hand-painted in stunning shades by the artisans at artyarns - this yarn blooms and gets very soft after washing, and never pills!

On top of this, Eco is carbon balanced and climate-smart yarn. In production it uses 74% less water, 66% less energy use, and 78% less carbon dioxide, i.e. 5 times lower environmental impact than a similar normal yarn.

Artyarns Silk Mohair yarn is the highest quality Silk-Mohair blend we've ever found. Gorgeous, soft halo from the top-tier mohair, and fabulous lustre and shine from the high silk content (40% as compared to 28-30% in other brands of silk-mohair). This stuff isn't like your run-of-the-mill silk-mo.

Absolutely no scratchiness, no plastic/acrylic. This yarn has been hand-painted by artisans, not machine dyed, so each skein has depth and interest.

We also have kits in Isager Eco Soft here.

      Care:
We recommend hand washing non-superwash, hand-dyed yarns.

Although Artyarns are very consistent with their colourways, all hand-painted skeins are unique. If your project uses more than one skein, you may want to alternate / stripe the skeins.

Block / wash in lukewarm water with some wool wash, and lay flat to dry. Artyarns set their dyes with steaming and thoroughly rinsing but differing water temperatures and chemicals can cause some dye to bleed in any yarn.

If you're pairing light and dark colours, we recommend washing your swatch first to test for colour-fastness.
