    • "Scout is an intricate, pattern-filled shawl inspired by the pieced-together aesthetic of vintage quilts.

"A dream project for colourwork lovers, Scout’s patchwork effect is achieved by mixing Fair Isle and intarsia knitting throughout. Knitted sideways from tip-to-tip, the easy-to-wear shape and size of the shawl is designed to display maximum detail as it drapes over the shoulders." Florence Spurling

We've created some GORGEOUS kits for Florence Spurling’s Scout Shawl Pattern (creator of the Elvan Shawl pattern).

Dyed up especially for us by Artyarns in our favourite Merino Cloud (80% Fine Merino, 20% Italian Cashmere); the colourways have been chosen to really show off this incredible pattern which uses a palette of 4 colours and a neutral.

If you haven't had the opportunity to test-drive Merino Cloud before, you're in for a real treat!

Merino Cloud yarn contains an exceptionally high quality cashmere which makes it super soft and as light as a cloud, but with tons of loft and body (perfect for colour work), and exquisite drape and stitch definition (perfect for this shawl!).

      The Scout Shawl Kit contains:
Merino Cloud yarn (an unbelievably soft and luxurious blend of Fine Merino and Italian Cashmere: Merino Cloud is unlike any other yarn!)

      100g of CC2, and 50g each of CC1, CC3, CC4, CC5 - as required for the pattern. Total 300g (1,200m) of yarn.

(Optional) PDF Pattern which will emailed to you.
