This beautiful lambswool yarn is spun from Peruvian sheep wool, and is characterised by its complex colours: a mixture of different shades dyed into the wool before it is spun.
With it's relatively loose twist, it has a softer handle than Tvinni and can be substituted in patterns for Tvinni and Alpaca 2. (It lies somewhere between Tvinni and Alpaca 2 for softness and durability.)
We think of this one as a light fingering or heavy lace weight.
HIghland is it well suited for structured patterns together with other yarns and it does not twist when worked in the round.
Gorgeous all on its own, or held together with yarns like Alpaca 1, Alpaca 2 and Silk Mohair.

Renowned for classic yarns made from natural fibres, well suited for knitting, crochet, weaving and embroidery.
All the wool qualities are ideal for felting and for dyeing with plant dyes.
It is important to us that our yarns are produced with the greatest amount of care taken to both animals and humans.
As a rule, single ply, densely spun yarns should not be used individually for working in the round, as they may pull the finished work. When worked together with other qualities this problem is avoided.
