    • Get inspired with Artyarns Inspirations!

These are Limited Edition colours in some of our favourite Artyarns bases: Merino Cloud, Double Mohair, and for the first time ever - Cashmere Ombré 2 ply!

Every purchase includes exclusive patterns designed to bring out the yarn colours. Once a colour sells out it’s retired and will never be repeated.

Nov 2021 is called "Maya Bay", inspired by a destination in the Phi Phi Islands of Thailand that evokes the most beautiful shades of greens, aqua, beiges, and greys.

This colorway is hand-dyed as an ombré so that it will gradually evolve and stripe instead of pool. Hand-painted watercolour yarn, lovingly dyed by artisans with brushes.

Read more about each of the yarns and their characteristics here:

Patterns will be emailed to you upon purchase*:

      1. Maya Bay Crescent Shawl by Iris Schreier: knit with one skein of Merino Cloud and optional extra skein of Beaded Silk & Sequins Light for a sparkly edging. Knit with 5mm (US 8) needles. Finished shawl is approx 82" x 17".

      2. Maya Bay Poncho by Lucinda Iglesias:  2 skein poncho (capelet) worked seamlessly from the top down. The inspiration colorway and the companion colour alternate with a fun and easy slip stitch motif.

      3. In addition to the two patterns worked specifically with this colour, please feel free to request one of these 1-skein patterns: Circle of Hope LYS Day Shawl, Evening Glow Shawl, Baltic Sea Shawl, Reflections Shawl.  For more details of these patterns, click here:  https://www.ravelry.com/designers/iris-schreier

*If you're purchasing the Double Mohair, you'll receive the 5 Pattern Compilation by Iris Schreier for this gorgeous yarn!

PS - prices are for 1 skein of yarn. We often photograph more than one skein together so you get more "views" of the yarn, but unless you're buying a kit, each skein is sold individually.

      Care:
We recommend hand washing non-superwash, hand-dyed yarns.

Although Artyarns are very consistent with their colourways, all hand-painted skeins are unique. If your project uses more than one skein, you may want to alternate / stripe the skeins.

Block / wash in lukewarm water with some wool wash, and lay flat to dry. Artyarns set their dyes with steaming and thoroughly rinsing but differing water temperatures and chemicals can cause some dye to bleed in any yarn.

If you're pairing light and dark colours, we recommend washing your swatch first to test for colour-fastness.
