    • We couldn't resist these super beautiful fade sets in Ombré Merino Cloud. If you love the Ombré colours and transitions but want a little more control, these are perfect for you!

These Ombré hand-painted yarns are an ingenious mash-up of variegation and self-striping, with much longer sections of individual colours than regular variegated yarns, but more blended transitions than self-striping yarns.

Combining our favourite yarn bases with our favourite yarn with our favourite colours of the season and our favourite dye technique, these kits are a dream come true!

      The set includes:
      5 x 50g skeins of iconic Merino Cloud (80% Extra Fine Merino, 20% Cashmere); 5 x 200m/50g
Pattern download codes for Sunset Poncho and V-Neck Fade Sweater (as pictured)

Each and every skein is hand-painted by artisans at the Artyarns studio.
(Colourways with no numbers in the name are LIMITED EDITION, and when they are gone, they are gone.)

[PS - Merino Cloud has a great deal of loft. It is soft enough to be worked as a fingering weight on 3.75mm needles (yielding 5.5 sts per inch) or as a heavy fingering on 4mm needles (yielding 5 sts per inch), or as a dk weight on 4.5mm needles (yielding 4.5 sts per inch).

Because of the loft in the yarn in fills in nicely and does not result in too-holey fabric. Because of the softness in the yarn, it can actually be knitted even on 2mm (size 0) needles, and would still not be too stiff!]

    • Ingredients:
      5 x Merino Cloud (80% Extra Fine Merino, 20% Cashmere); 1094yd/1000m/250g
