    • Hands down, the softest cashmere yarn we've ever knitted with! Like, EVER!

We know it's not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for here! Incredibly, one skein can make a whole luxurious cashmere sweater or large shawl. Worth every single penny.

Lovingly handmade with 2 strands of exquisitely high quality Italian Cashmere, loosely plied, and then hand-painted by artisans with a totally unique technique resulting in long transitions between colours.

Think of it as a cross between gradient dyed yarn and variegated. It's completely new and can totally transform your knits!

Each 150g skein measures a huge 675m (738 yards), which is enough to knit a whole RanunculusLove Note, Make Mine a Double or a generous wrap or shawl.

NB - we can custom order for you, if we don't have your colourway in stock, or in other artyarns colourways. It usually takes 2-3 weeks to arrive.

🎁 We've designed the "One Armed Bandit" pattern (as photographed in Tribe Tr-ouble), and we'll send it to you as our gift with your purchase! We think this "garment" is the perfect way to showcase the amazing softness, drape, warmth and colours!

🎁 We've also designed the "Amuse Ruche" pattern (as photographed in Rainbow Mountain), and we'll send it to you as our gift with your purchase! We think this "garment" is the perfect way to showcase the amazing softness, drape, warmth and colours!

🎁 We will also send you 3 other patterns designed specifically for this amazing yarn - the tube scarf, the Rainbow Sweater, the Argyle Lace cardigan and the Sandstone Striations Cardi, all by Iris Schreier.

      We LOVE it on 3.5mm - 6mm needles (US 5 - 10) - it's very versatile.

This yarn has been hand-painted by artisans, not machine dyed, so each skein has depth and interest, and the way the colour changes will keep you fully engaged.

(Please note - the One Armed Bandit pattern is not available to purchase without the yarn. It was designed specifically with this yarn in mind.)

    • Ingredients:
      100% Finest Italian Cashmere

      Length:
      675m (738 yards)

      Weight:
      150g

      Gauge:
DK-ish, although could be used on many needle sizes!

      Care:
We recommend hand washing non-superwash, hand-dyed yarns.

Although Artyarns are very consistent with their colourways, all hand-painted skeins are unique. If your project uses more than one skein, you may want to alternate / stripe the skeins.

Block / wash in lukewarm water with some wool wash, and lay flat to dry. Artyarns set their dyes with steaming and thoroughly rinsing but differing water temperatures and chemicals can cause some dye to bleed in any yarn.

If you're pairing light and dark colours, we recommend washing your swatch first to test for colour-fastness.
