    • Snefnug Natur is the same gorgeous yarn as Snefug, but undyed

Snefnug (Snowflake in Danish) is a gorgeously soft and light yarn that's been ethically created and really makes the most of high quality all-natural fibres and modern milling techniques.

Like our beloved Amelie, Snefnug is made from a tube (in this case cotton instead of silk) with soft luxurious fibres blown through it (it this case baby alpaca with a little extra fine merino wool).

This approach creates a much more airy, light, soft and strong yarn than if these fibres were traditionally plied.

Check out the dyed Snefnug with its extensive colour palette here.

Produced by an Italian family-owned spinning mill with consideration for both environment and animal welfare, this yarn is OEKO TEX standard 100 certified, which guarantees that the yarns have been tested and do not contain any harmful chemicals. (License number: 2176-346 DTI)

What can you use it for? Well, pretty much anything! Garments for every age, warm accessories, weaving - it's very versatile.

We suggest knitting it on 4 - 6mm needles (US 6 - 10), with a stitch gauge of approx 12-16 sts per 10 cm and approx. 24 rows.
