Knit your own French Market Bag using gorgeous Japansk Bomuld by Isager!
The French Market Bag, designed by PetiteKnit is worked from the bottom up. The bottom is flat and cleverly worked as a growing circle in the round on circular or double-pointed needles, while the sides of the bag are worked in the round in a knotted openwork pattern on a circular needle. The top of the bag is finished with a neat i-cord edge. The lining is sewn with the same construction as the bag and then sewn onto the finished bag. Add some leather straps, et voila!

Renowned for classic yarns made from natural fibres, well suited for knitting, crochet, weaving and embroidery.
All the wool qualities are ideal for felting and for dyeing with plant dyes.
It is important to us that our yarns are produced with the greatest amount of care taken to both animals and humans.
Yarns bearing the same numbers can replace each other and a number 1 yarn combined with a number 2 yarn can be worked together to make a yarn equivalent to a number 3 yarn.
Yarns marked with * are suitable for machine knitting.
As a rule, single ply, densely spun yarns should not be used individually for working in the round, as they may pull the finished work. When worked together with other qualities this problem is avoided.
