    Construction of Amalie’s sweater no. 53

    The sweater is worked top-down with raglan increases. The first part is worked back and forth to shape the neck before joining in the round. The sleeve stitches are put on hold to work the body and then the sleeves are worked, also in the round.

    Medium chest width 56cm [22.06"]/ front length 72cm [28.37"] – back 75cm [29.55"] / sleeve length 46cm [18.12"]

    Large chest width 60cm [23.64"]/ front length 74cm [29.16"] – back 77cm [30.34"] / sleeve length 46cm [18.12"]

    Tension/gauge

    16 stitches and 22 rounds = 10x10cm [4"x4"]in stocking stitch with and without pattern, worked flat and in the round.

    It is important to get the right tension for the sweater to get the given measurements
