Geo-Metry Yarn Turtle

You know how much we enjoy hand-winding yarn! And here's a simple and beautiful little gizmo to make hand-winding even more relaxing.

Great for winding of hanks, skeins or scraps of yarn.

We love hand-winding for so many reasons! It gives you more time to spend with the yarn and experience/learn about the fibres, colours and properties, but also it means you can examine the yarn for knots and imperfections before use.

The leather yarn winder is portable and great for when you're travelling and haven't packed your swift and winder.

Handmade in vegetal tanned leather in from Geo-metry's little studio in Denmark.

The mini version of the Yarn Turtle is perfect for winding mini-skeins and scraps of yarn and they would also be excellent for intarsia projects.

USER TIPS

• Start by securing the end of the yarn in the little flap.
• Switch the limb you are wrapping every few minutes.
• Finish up by Securing the end of the yarn in one of the loops.

Note: These yarn turtles are made slowly and lovingly handmade to order, so when they are gone, it might be a little wait for the next batch.
