    Keep your tootsies toasty with the double layers of crochet brioche.

    Created toe-up with gusset shaping and a heel flap, you have the advantage of trying your sock on as you go, allowing adjustments to be made if necessary. And with six sizes, a choice of two heels depths and options to make a regular leg or shortie version, the Baseline Socks will have you in a pair of perfectly fitting crochet socks in no time.

    Sizes
    (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) to fit a foot circumference (at the ball of the foot) of (19, 20, 21, 22.5, 23.5, 24.5)cm / 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10)”

    Materials
    2 x 100g skeins of fingering weight yarn in contrasting colours.
    4mm hook, plus optional hook one size larger

    Gauge
    26 sts and 30 rows to 10cm/4” in sc worked in unturned rounds. Note: Row gauge will be different if you swatch in rows. Provided your stitch gauge is correct, any difference in row gauge can be adjusted if necessary.

    Skill level: Intermediate
    The is a project created using basic stitches, simple shaping and minimal finishing. You will need to know how to work post stitches. The pattern is not particularly difficult, but there are a number of elements that require concentration. That said, all parts are detailed step-by-step to keep things as simple as possible.
