"Amanda’s sweater is a combination of heavy wool and a delicate lace pattern and it is knit with Le Gros Lambswool and Le Petit Silk & Mohair held together. On the photos is the dark grey brownish, a beautiful undyed shade, and the silk & mohair is medium grey, but you can imagine any other shades of undyed or dyed colours. "

Construction of Amalie’s sweater no. 8

The sweater features a V-neck and large rib edges.
The back and front are worked flat in stockinette stitch with a lace pattern at the upper part of the sweater.
Then the shoulder seams are assembled and stitches for the sleeves are knit up at the armhole and worked flat, top-down in stockinette stitch. The sleeves are balloon shaped.

    Tension/Gauge

12.5 sts x 18 rows = 10x10cm/4x4” in stockinette stitch using 2 threads held together (worked back and forth). Needle size 7mm/UK2/US10.75 or the right size to obtain gauge.
It is important to get the right tension/gauge for the sweater to get the given measurements ☺

    Suggested Needle Sizes

    Needle sizes 6mm/UK4/US10 + 7mm/UK2/US10.75.
We use circular needles 80cm/32” because of the many stitches.
