    the biches & bûches shawl no. 59 is a big autumn shawl worked gorgeously soft Le Gros Silk & Mohair. It is worked in different stitch patterns with colour variations to keep you on your guard all along!

    techniques : knit stitch + purl stitch + slip stitch + changing colour + garter tap (everything is of course explained in the pattern !)
    construction : the shawl is knit flat, top down, using one colour at the time (no fair-isle knitting)
