Construction

The cardigan is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up and the sleeves are sewn together. It is worked in stocking stitch and has a lace motif on the upper part of the body. The sleeves are extra wide and 3/4 length.
We have made a version with buttons/buttonholes and a version without. Follow the instructions for the version that you prefer. 

Yarn

biches & bûches le petit lambswool x 5/5/5/6/6 skeins
Shown in grey beige or dark gold

(also 4 buttons Ø 15-18 mm (optional))

Needles

3 mm/UK 11/US 2.5 or the size to obtain gauge.
We have used a circular needle to accommodate the large number of stitches.

Large: back width 58cm 22.8”/ total length 60cm 23.6”/ length of body up to armhole 32cm 12.6”/ sleeve length 32cm 12.6”
X-Large: back width 64cm 25.2”/ total length 62cm 24.4”/ length of body up to armhole 34cm 13.4”/ sleeve length 32cm 12.6”

The model wears a size Medium with a positive ease for the back width of 8cm 3”.
