Nerida is a gorgeous top-down crescent-shaped shawl, named after Nereids, which in Greek mythology were sea nymphs.
When designing this shawl I wanted to capture the stormy, changing sea. Which I think I managed perfectly with the calmness of plain panels, occasionally interrupted by the busyness of lace and the sharp scallop edging representing the roughness of sea rocks. To read more about the inspiration for the name please visit my blog – moochkauk.blogspot.co.uk
