Jesse is written in 9 sizes from 33 to 64” bust, so you should have lots of options for fit, as well!
Although Julie will be knitting "Ruth" this year, we have opted for gorgeous Jesse - inspired by the classic Irish fisherman's sweater and using the Cocoknits Method!
We love the cables, which are worked all over and the cozy ribbed shawl collar that's infinitely flattering. A fun and challenging knit for cozy winter evenings, Jesse is a stunning sweater that will bring you joy (and compliments) for years to come. Click here to see Julie modelling it.

• Needles!- 4.5mm (US 7) (or size needed to obtain gauge) circular needle, 32” / 80 cm or longer for body, depending on size worked (length should be shorter than bust circumference; before attaining full bust measurement)
- 4.5mm (US 7) (or size needed to obtain gauge) circular needle 40"/ 100 cm to work magic loop on sleeves, or dpns
- 4mm (US 6) circular needle, at least 32” / 80 cm, for ribbing (optional)
- 3.25 - 3.5mm (US 3-4) needles for working bind-off
- 2 - 3mm (US 0-3) dpn or any length circular (for picking up stitches)
• Cocoknits Colourful Stitch Markers (or 6 stitch markers in different colours)
• Stitch Holders to hold Sleeve stitches, or other scrap yarn

You could think about holding two Fingering weight yarns together for gauge and for a marled look (if they are different colours), or a Sport weight with a Silk Mohair to get the benefit of different fibres.
