  • Eva Cardigan Pattern by CocoKnits

    By Julie Weisenberger

Eva is a lightweight, cropped, kimono-style cardigan. It has a relaxed fit, slightly off the shoulders and wide-bodied. The ribbed neckbands are worked simultaneously with the upper cardigan, then split off and finished separately to become front ties that can be knotted or left to hang.

The sides are split from just under the armholes, giving the fabric movement and swing. Because you are working from the top down, you can easily add more length to the body and/or sleeves if desired. Just be sure to buy more yarn!

    BEFORE PURCHASING THIS PATTERN
This sweater is worked using the Cocoknits Method, a commonsense system for knitting seamless, tailored sweaters from the top down. The Cocoknits Method is explained in detail in Cocoknits Sweater Workshop by Julie Weisenberger.

All of the page numbers in this pattern refer to the pages in Cocoknits Sweater Workshop, where the techniques are explained in detail.
