    By Stacey McCrea Warner

The Circinus Cowl pattern is aptly named after a constellation as well as the Latin word for compass – a tool used for drawing circles.

This circular cowl has simple Stockinette stitch stripes worked in two colors but it appears more complex thanks to the crafty colorwork of our Dip Dyed yarn.

Mix one “big dipper” and one “little dipper” in the same shade and watch as the colors ebb and flow as you knit.  Worked in the round, double loop cowl is a fun, simple knit that yields intriguing results.
